More than a dozen City Council members sported hoodies at City Hall Wednesday, to show solidarity with the unarmed sweatshirt-clad Florida teen who was gunned down at the hands of a neighborhood watch captain.

Council Speak Christine Quinn wore a red hoodie during the press conference remembering Trayvon Martin. The Council passed a resolution condemning the shooting.

"White boys are not killed for being white, walking in a neighborhood ... with hoods," said Council Member Helen Diane Foster, who represents parts of the Bronx.
