A healthcare consultant pleaded guilty to bribing former state Senator Carl Kruger.
Solomon Kalish is the sixth and final defendant in the case. Kalish owned and operated a company called Adex Management. He admitted to federal prosecutors that Adex funneled money to a close associate of Kruger, with the understanding the money would lead to political favors.
Kalish faces up to 20 years in prison and a quarter-million dollars in fines.
Kruger pleaded guilty last month to federal corruption charges. His sentencing is scheduled for April.
