The search continues for a suspect who got away during an armed robbery for prescription drugs at an East Harlem pharmacy that ended with another suspect being shot and killed by police.
Police say Rudolph Wyatt was shot by a retired officer during a chaotic getaway on Thursday.
Wyatt and the second suspect entered the 119th Street pharmacy at 11 a.m. Six customers, including an infant, and three employees were inside the store.
During the confusion, the second suspect managed to slip away and took off running. Police continued to search for him on Friday.
Pharmacist Frank Wong said the suspects entered the pharmacy brandishing a gun and demanding Oxycontin and Percocet, two addictive painkillers.
Police found $300 in Wyatt's pocket, but no drugs.
