The starlet who stepped in to replace another actress injured on the "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" Broadway musical was injured herself last week, a spokesman said.
T.V. Caprio, who plays evil spider woman Arachne in the $65 million production, was hurt last week during a battle scene on stage. She will be out for the next two weeks, producers said.
"T.V. Carpio sustained an injury on Wednesday, March 16 during an onstage battle scene with a fellow actor," Rick Miramontez, a spokesman, said in an email. "On doctor's orders, she will be out of the show for the next two weeks. America Olivo will be performing the role of 'Arachne' during this time."
Caprio replaced actress Natalie Mendoza after she got a concussion in December while working on the musical. The show has been dogged by injuries and its opening has been delayed half a dozen times.
