Kenneth Starr, financial adviser to the stars, faced sentencing in Manhattan federal court Wednesday for a multimillion dollar investment scheme.
Starr — who advised Martin Scorsese, Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes — pleaded guilty to swindling nine wealthy and elderly clients out of more than $30 million.
Prosecutors accused the 67-year-old disgraced financial adviser of using the funds to help maintain his lavish lifestyle, including his $7.5 million luxury condo on the Upper East Side.
Prosecutors say he deserves a minimum of 10 years behind bars.
