Annmarie Fertoli, Associate Producer, WNYC News
Annmarie Fertoli is an Associate Producer at WNYC, working with the afternoon news team to produce All Things Considered.
The union representing Julie Taymor, former director of "Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark," said she's owed royalties for her work on the show.
Taymor was replaced by director Philip William McKinley earlier this year, and the plot she wrote for the production has been re-written.
The Stage Directors and Choreography Society said Taymor dedicated nine years to the show and deserves compensation for her work. SDC didn't specify an amount, instead asking for a producer to give financial accounts, so it can determine how much she is owed.
The troubled musical, beset by several delays and injuries, is now in previews again. It's set to open next Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the musical was not immediately available for comment.
