A business consultant charged as part of the CityTime payroll scandal pleaded guilty to paying bribes in order to secure government contracts.

Victor Natanzon pleaded guilty Tuesday before a federal judge in Manhattan court to a four-count criminal complaint, according to court records.

He is one of several charged who prosecutors say steered $80 million dollars in government work to companies they controlled in the case linked to the city's computerized worker timekeeping system.

The U.S. Attorney's office announced it formally filed charges for five others allegedly involved in the scandal.
