Concrete Workers Reach Tentative Contract Deal

More than 2,000 concrete workers have reached a tentative contract agreement.

Details of the deal between the Cement League and the cement unions have not yet been released.

The concrete workers have been poised to strike for much of the summer, but a new contract will avert a walkout that could have affected many construction projects around the city, including 1 World Trade Center.
