Deadbeat landlords are having a tougher time tormenting their tenants anonymously in the digital age. The city's Public Advocate has just added 109 new buildings to the "NYC's Worst Landlord Watch List."

Public Advocate Bill de Blasio' started the list in August to allow tenants to look up a current or potential landlord by name and check for code violations for other buildings the landlord owns.

De Blasio says his office received a surge of complaints after he launched the Watch List. There are now 269 buildings on the list, representing nearly 5,600 tenants.
