Robert Fripp’s Soundscapes
World Financial Center, 12:30 & 7PM, Fri., Dec. 3 & Sat., Dec. 4
Friday, December 03, 2010 - 12:25 PM
WNYC
Based on his Frippertronics explorations of the ‘70s, English guitarist, composer, and founder of the prog-rock band, King Crimson, Robert Fripp creates site-specific solo performances weaving sonic tapestries with electric guitar and digital effects. Each of these Soundscapes performances is a one-of-a-kind event and is a rare chance to see Fripp live, and according to the artist himself, perhaps for the last time. Free at the World Financial Center's Winter Garden on Friday, Dec. 3 at 12:30PM and 7PM and on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 12:30PM and 7PM.

@ piotr: Yes, you did hear correctly. I believe it was stated that they will be posted here in the (hopefully near future) days to come.
I thought I heard John Shaefer announce that recordings from the concert would be posted on this site. Did I get that right?
Where all will Robert be playing these soundscapes?
Loved this afternoon's soundscape. So magical.
John, will you be doing an on-air interview with Robert this time while he's in NYC?
Thanks!
