Because the notion of reality TV and fine art coming together in a phantasmagoria of high-low totally turns us art nerds on, we are gathering in the WNYC offices tonight for a highly unofficial screening of the premiere of Bravo's brand new art industry reality show, Work of Art: The Next Great Artist.

Wedged into the station's café with me will be a couple of dozen naughty artists, bloggers, Tweeters, gallerists and assorted art types. In addition to the general revelry (I expect this gang to get lubed on merlot and cookies), there will likely be plenty of Tweeting as well.

Also, the Brooklyn Museum has put together a Twitter list of the show's participants—and Bravo has helpfully uploaded all of the participating artists' portfolios. Juicy!
