Tuesday, April 17, 2012 - 05:00 PM
Gov. Andrew Cuomo's tax return shows he's making money in a trust that invests in real estate and petroleum as he weighs the future of extracting natural gas in New York.
Meanwhile, Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy's return shows he made $2,628 betting one day at Saratoga Race Course.
The 2011 tax documents made public briefly on Tuesday also show Cuomo is no longer paying $6,000 in New York City residency tax for staying in an apartment owned by his girlfriend, food TV star Sandra Lee.
Cuomo now says his residence is her Westchester County home. He also spends time in the governor's mansion in Albany.
Cuomo reported income of nearly $50,000 from unspecified investments in Texas and New Jersey. He has no New York investments.
