'It's going to get nastier'

The best part of this unedited interview with Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino comes at the very end, where he says the race will get "nastier." Paladino says "being nasty and being crazy are two different things" and he goes on to call his Democratic rival, Andrew Cuomo a "despicable character." Twice.
My other favorite part is early on, when he's asked about the offensive emails he's forwarded, asks his interviewer, "What's that got to do with me?"

Smellier direct mail pieces?Seriously, he's going to go after Cuomo as the embodiment of Albany. The first person he mentioned when he said it's "gonna get nastier" was not Cuomo but Sheldon Silver. This could bring Cuomo down a few points, but it's more likely that all it will do is bring the Democrats closer, as Steve Kornacki talked about earlier this week. http://capi.tl/9p3RSi
