'I Should Not Express My Own Views'

With Ground Zero as a backdrop, Michael Bloomberg was on Good Morning America today defending the Park51 project - a proposed Islamic cultural center slated to open two blocks from where the World Trade Center once stood.
"The government should never get involved in restricting what you can say…this is a first amendment issue," Bloomberg said.
On whether he personally supports the plan, Bloomberg said, "I'm the government. And I should not express my own views."
Which sounds like what Obama said.
