It’s official: Work has begun on the multi-year rehabilitation of the Brooklyn Bridge.

We've been keeping an eye out for the official beginning of the renovation of the Brooklyn Bridge, and we received this email this week in response to a query about where things stood.  “Our Notice to Proceed was given January 21^st, but we have done only surveying and mobilization since then. The contractor is submitting a proposed baseline schedule, that DOT will review and comment on.”
