NEW YORK, NY February 05, 2008 —WNYC.org features two guest bloggers to report on the festivities and culture of the Lunar New Year holiday for two weeks starting Thursday, February 7th.

Composer Huang Ruo Huang Ruo, whose work is featured in WNYC’s “New Moon Rises” Music Festival and who is part of WNYC's New Americans series, blogs about the sounds and colors of the Lunar New Year.

Winnie Yang, Chinese-American editor for the "Art of Eating" and editor for "Slow Food," takes us on a guided tour of the smells and tastes of the festivities. Winnie Yang lives in Fort Greene, Brooklyn and is also a blogger at thatswhatyouthink.wordpress.com
