Reporter's Notebook: Inside Guantanamo Bay

Holding the trial of Khalid Sheik Mohammed, accused mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, and four other men at the military commission set up at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, has meant limited in person coverage of the proceedings. The military commission has limited video feeds of the proceedings, and no television coverage.
But the Department of Defense has brought groups of reporters to the base to cover the hearings. WNYC’s Brigid Bergin is there for the latest round of pre-trial motions taking place at the military commission and shares her experiences of reporting from Guantanamo Bay.

Can you return the line-up before hurricane Sandy, or make AM 820 have better reach? Or make it easier to listen to shows on-line - return the search feature?
I love WNYC - and if I had a million dollars I'd give you most of it. I don't - I asked my mom for my Christmas gift to give me $20 to give it to the donation of my choice, and I donated $60 with my Pepsi match for $120. Not much - I am a monthly sustaining member for $10/month, Pepsi match, and contribute what I can at the end of the year - I want you on the air. You make me intelligent.
So, as a small time supporter from upper Westchester County who used to never to it off, I am very sad to say I turn it off. You repeat shows in the evenings on 93.9 FM that I can hear any time - and don't choose to. I really want the line up you had before Hurricane Sandy - 8 PM On Point, 9 PM Tell Me More. I don't get AM 820 up here, but that would only give me On Point. I love that on Holidays that fall on week days, you are there - you have no idea.
But I can listen on the website - and now even that is a challenge! I used to be able to search for the shows I want while you play those others, and I can't.
And you probably need a million dollars to do what you do SO well. If I had it, you would get most of it!
