Our world is full of death. We remember it especially on this day, September the eleventh. But is death the end? I hold that we have reasons to believe in the afterlife.: http://calltoawareness.blogspot.com/2012/09/now-i-lay-me-down-in-defense-of.html
My heart is quiet, sad, and full of love for all those who lost someone that day. The family members who spoke took my breath away.
I was at work at Motorola when the airplane hit the towers, but, at work, we didn't quickly know what had happened...Then the shock of the news hit us in Schaumburg, and all I could think about was picking up my kids in daycare and getting them home. As I drove to their schools, I worried about what I would say to them that would make sense and not make them frightened...we avoided the television and talked about what had happened how terrible it was. I'm so glad I was with them.
