Top LIPA Exec, Trustee Announce Resignations

Another top executive and a trustee of the Long Island Power Authority have announced their resignations.
According to Newsday, LIPA vice president of customer service Bruce Germano will step down at the end of the year. He called it "purely a personal decision."
LIPA says board member Cristofer Damianos has resigned to spend time on his real estate business.
LIPA Chief Operating Officer Michael Hervey previously announced he'll depart at year's end.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has formed a commission to investigate utilities' storm responses. LIPA has come under severe criticism.
Newsday also says some LIPA customers are upset that they were billed for service during outages. LIPA says the charge will even out after the next meter reading.
