A man accused of fatally shooting a Nassau County police officer and another man has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder.

Darrel Fuller was ordered held without bail Monday in a Mineola courtroom packed with police officers.

Fuller allegedly shot to death Officer Arthur Lopez and bystander Raymond Facey on Oct. 23.

Prosecutors say the ex-convict shot Lopez as Lopez approached Fuller's car in Nassau County, just over the Queens border. They say Fuller shot Facey of Brooklyn moments later during a carjacking.

Prosecutors say Fuller then staged his own shooting to make it appear as if he were an innocent victim.

A Nassau County criminal complaint said Fuller used a 9 mm semiautomatic to kill his two victims.
