It seems there was a big increase in population in the Bronx Zoo and the Botanical Garden as well! Guess they've got some holes in the fences.
The greatest increase was in Central Park (dark blue-green on the map)? I'm aware as their status as smartest and most fearless New Yorkers (not to mention descendants of the first settlers, so not intimidated by perceived illegal status), thus more inclined to cooperate with census workers, but I had no idea the census counted rats!
There are "0 Results" when I search for White change, Black/Afr American change, etc. Perhaps this map is missing data or isn't completely set up?
For Most Populous Group:
Blue = Whites
Green = Blacks/African-Americans
Yellow = Hispanics
Purple = Asians
