DeCamp Bus and Union Resume Negotiations as Strike Contines

A private New Jersey bus company and union members are back to contract negotiations this week, as their strike enters its seventh day.
About 100 drivers, mechanics and garage personnel at DeCamp Bus Lines walked off the job last Thursday. They still haven't reached an agreement on wages, a proposed salary cap and a pension plan. Jorge Maldonado, president of the Amalgamated Transit Union local 1317, says management still isn't proposing anything new. The company would not comment on ongoing discussions, but confirmed that negotiations are taking place.
The company serves more than 7,500 passengers a day. A posting on DeCamp's website says the company is still offering charter service and service to local casinoes -- and apologized for the inconvenience to passengers.

As far as I can tell, the strike was never officially resolved, and so its possible that the cooling off period may result in another strike. The Decamp website news is outdated. Can still use your Broadway show tickts using NJ Transit to reach NY Ciry.,
NJTransit does not own DeCamp, its a privately owned company.
I have Broadway tickets for this weekend that I will not be able to use because, without DeCamp, there is no convenient, safe way to get home at night on a weekend.
I just can't wait for the strike to be over. DeCamp was really convenient for me.
Since NJ Transit owns DeCamp and DeCamp is the operator for $1 a year, why can't NJ Transit have trains run on the weekend or bring in charter buses from their system to cover the towns that are only covered by DeCamp during the week? And why doesn't the Midtown Direct work on the weekends? I cannot get to see my family.
Everyone keeps saying that this is the 7th day..isn't it the EIGHTH day?
