Congressman Eric Massa Resigns

New York Congressman Eric Massa announced that he is resigning today. The freshman Democrat from Western New York is under investigation for allegations he harassed a male aide. A former Naval officer, Massa declared he is a "deeply flawed" person who frequently uses salty language. Massa announced yesterday that he would not seek re-election, saying his doctors had told him his cancer had relapsed.
