Bloomberg Continues to Court "King" LeBron

New York City has drawn up a PR play in hope of courting Cleveland Cavaliers basketball star LeBron James to sign with the Knicks or Nets. The two-time All-Star becomes a free agent on July 1. The city's tourism arm, NYC and Company, is encouraging New Yorkers to follow Mayor Michale Bloomberg's lead and submit a video to C'Mon LeBron.com.
New Yorkers can also make their case to 'King James' through a C'mon LeBron Facebook page and by including a #cmonlebron hash tag in their Tweets. If you need still more ways to prove your devotion to James campaign, you can download logos and images from an online fan kit. Taxi monitors and the big video screens in Times Square are already flashing C'Mon LeBron messages.

As much as I'd like to see the Knicks improve I would prefer for LeBron to stay in Cleveland. At this point it shouldn't be about the money for him (how many hundreds of millions does he already have?) and I think it would be great for kids to see an athlete stick with his home town team.
