The owners of Stuyvesant Town and Peter Cooper Village are turning the complex over to their creditors, relinquishing control of over 11,000 apartments in Manhattan.
City Councilman Daniel Garodnick lives at the Stuyvesant Town apartments and he's been working on behalf of tenants there for years. He joins WNYC's Richard Hake to discuss the decision and what comes next.
