Dexter A. McKenzie

Kendall Stewart
BIO: A two-term Councilman, Stewart is best known, at least outside his district, for what his two aides did: they pled guilty to embezzlement of city funds, $145,000 of them, meant for nonprofits. Is the chair of the council’s immigration committee; also serves on Aging, Land Use and Health committees.

Samuel Taitt
BIO: Born in Barbados, Taitt’s political life began in the 80s, as the head of the Caribbean Students Union at Brooklyn College. He is a tenured member of the CUNY-Kingsborough Community College faculty, in the Communications department. He’s also host of a local TV program, Brooklyn45.
