New York, NY –
Police have arrested a man accused of setting a small fire at the temporary home in New York City for the remains of thousands of World Trade Center victims. The fire was set early Saturday after a break-in at Memorial Park, a weatherproof tent on Manhattan's East Side where the city is storing remains that have yet to be identified. The remains were not damaged, but a a wooden bench and mementos honoring the dead were damaged. The mayor said anyone who would do such a thing "is craven and contemptible."
