Lady Liberty's Crown to Reopen 4th of July

The crown of the Statue of Liberty will be reopened this 4th of July. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar made the announcement this morning in the crown which has been closed to the public since 9/11.
REPORTER: The pedestal and lower deck have since been re-opened. Speaking on NBC, Salazar says new safety improvements have made the crown's reopening possible.
SALAZAR: There'll be about 30 people an hour that can come up...to about 200,000 a year.
REPORTER: Salazar is also visiting Ellis Island to discuss stimulus funding for the historic immigration center.
