On March 13, 1955, Tammany leader Carmine De Sapio spars with New York State Attorney General Jacob Javits on ethics in politics.
Listen to Camine De Sapio's defense against the charge that Tammany is intrinsically corrupt.
Javitz concludes, 'If you listen to De Sapio, you'd think the Tammany Tiger had become a pussycat.'
