Madoff to Speak in Court Today

Bernard Madoff is likely to speak in court today to clear his lawyer of any potential conflicts of interest. The court appearance will be a warm-up to Madoff's Thursday plea hearing, when he is expected to plead guilty in the Ponzi scheme case. At least 25 investors have indicated they'd like to speak Thursday.
