Friday, June 12, 2009
New York, NY –
Health officials are at a Brooklyn public school today to answer questions from worried parents and staff, following the death of a student due to the H1N1 virus.
The 11-year-old girl's death was one of three reported by the city's health department yesterday. The total number of city swine flu deaths is now at 15.
Counselors have also been brought in to the Urban Assembly School of Criminal Justice, in Borough Park, to talk to students.
The school is open, after custodians sanitized it last night.
