Republican senators walked out of today's session refusing to acknowledge the Democratic leadership. They were joined by Democratic Senators Ruben Diaz and Hiram Monserratte who claimed they were fed up with their parties leadership as well. Senator Eric Adams, one of the Democrats left in the session expressed his frustration over what he described as the Republicans' fixation on Senate control.
ADAMS: They can have my office, they can have my member items. They can have my chairmanship. All I want them to do is get their BUTTS back in this chamber and pass these bills.
REPORTER: The democratic session gaveled out with no bills getting passed.
