Understanding Artwork at The Met

A new exhibition of drawings at the Metropolitan Museum offers a glimpse into the process behind masterworks of western painting.
Spanning the Renaissance to the early 20th Century, the show features sketches and studies by artists including Raphael Fragonard, Goya, Degas, Renoir and van Gogh.
Carmen Bambach, curator of Prints and Drawings, says the show is a great opportunity for students of drawing and painting to see the process.
BAMBACH: There's something. It’s a very intimate sense of looking over the artist’s shoulder and seeing the ideas come together on the paper.
REPORTER: 'Raphael to Renoir: Drawings from the Collection of Jean Bonna' will be on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art through April 26th.
