One of the 7,000 students invited to watch the inauguration of Barack Obama at the Armory in Harlem
WNYC's Beth Fertig spoke with Luke Matthew Grace Tisdale of Future Leaders Institute Charter School of Harlem who couldn't remember all of his letter to the president.
Beth: So I hear you're in second grade and you wrote letters to Obama, can you tell me what you wrote?
Luke: ummm.... Obama. Thank you for being the president. I hope you get into the White House and that.......

Leishawn McClean, 13, 8th grader at Democracy Prep Charter School was only student to vote for McCain in the school election. He still thinks McCain should have won but hopes Obama will be a good president .
