New York, NY –
Israelis in New York have been following events in the Gaza Strip closely.
Avi Dulberg says he’s been watching cable news constantly. And with his nephew in the Israeli Army, Dulberg has been calling his brother at least twice a day.
DULBERG: We are in direct contact on daily basis, in the morning, in the evening. And we have the internet. So we got the same feeling like to be there, almost.
REPORTER: He says that the world is smaller now so at least he knows that if he had to fly back, for a funeral, for example, it’s something that could be done without too much difficulty.
