N.J. To Add Lieutenant Governor

New York, NY –
Come November, New Jersey voters will elect the state's first lieutenant governor. That will make New Jersey the 45th state to have such a post.
When the measure became law in 2005, sponsors said they hoped it would lead to more women and minorities in statewide elected positions.
