After 35 Years, Moving Day for Robert Morgenthau

Thursday, December 31, 2009

Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau is retiring after serving in his post for 35 years. He's prosecuted mob bosses, notorious killers, CEO's, and celebrities. And after so many decades - he's become a kind of celebrity himself. WNYC's Kathleen Horan sat down with Morgenthau for an "exit interview", as he packed up his boxes for the big move.

The new DA Cyrus Vance, Jr. starts his new job tomorrow, but he won't be inaugurated until early next week.

For more on Morgenthau's move, visit the WNYC News Blog.
