Congressional Study Clears ACORN

A Congressional study released this week finds the anti-poverty group ACORN has not violated any federal regulations in the last five years.
ACORN has been plagued by scandal after allegations of voter fraud and videos showing workers advising a man and woman posing as a pimp and prostitute on how to evade laws and buy a home.
The Congressional study also found filming those workers without their consent may have violated certain state laws. The study follows a recent court decision that found Congress' vote to defund ACORN was unconstitutional because it improperly singled the group out.
On The Brain Lehrer Show today, Vince Warren, executive director of the Center for Constitutional Rights, discussed the latest in his group's lawsuit on behalf of the organization to restore federal funding. Listen below.
