NJ Governor-Elect Christie Announces Appointments

As the cabinet of New Jersey's Gov.-elect Chris Christie takes shape, the promised collegial transition between Christie and current Gov. Jon Corzine deteriorates.
Christie has tapped his running mate, incoming Lieutenant Gov. Kim Guadagno, to serve as his Secretary of State. In that capacity, Guadagno will oversee all of the state's elections and certify their results. He has also picked veteran Essex County Prosecutor Paula Dow to serve as his Attorney General.
Meanwhile, Christie continues to criticize Corzine for pushing through scores of last minute nominations to key posts on boards like the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.
A spokesman for Corzine says the outgoing administration is still committed to working cooperatively, but added that the governor still has the prerogatives that come with his full four-year term.
