The New York Jets will move their summer training camp from New Jersey to SUNY Cortland in central New York.
REPORTER: Joined by university officials in making the announcement today, Governor Paterson said the Jets' decision to train on the university grounds will create an economic boost for the local economy.
PATERSON: Putting this facility right here at State University of Cortland will bring thousands of fans to see the Jets, will bring millions of dollars to the region and will upgrade the whole area right here in Central New York.
REPORTER: Previously, the Jets had trained during summers at Hofstra University in Hempstead, Long Island.
