On Day Two of the Republican National Convention, Long Island Congressman Peter King addressed the New York State delegation breakfast.
He says Sen. John McCain's support of key anti-terror legislation helped keep New Yorkers safe from another attack.
KING: If Barack Obama had been in there, there would be no Patriot Act. There would be no surveillance of phone calls being made into the us by foreign terrorists. And I don't know what we would be doing as far as all the relationships set up with overseas allies, and countries that are not even our allies who are working very closely in our war against terror.
REPORTER: Congressman King says New York State should involve more Iraq war veterans, to help revamp the party.
