Local immigrant rights groups say they're making an unprecedented effort to turn out record numbers of New York's immigrant voters on Election Day. Linda Sarsour of the Arab-American Association of New York says old and new immigrant communities are more likely to vote for Barack Obama than John McCain.

Sarsour: They want to see change, they want to feel like the person that represents them looks like them, understands them.

Sarsour says even though both presidential candidates have not talked much about immigration reform, immigrants feel McCain has flipped flopped on the issue.

In New York City, one in three registered voters is an immigrant and two out of three first time voters are immigrants.
