Celebrating Obama Win
MoveOn.org hosts scores of parties across the city and around the country

New York, NY –
MoveOn says its members raised $88 million towards Barack Obama's win.
Now it intends to maintain the momentum. MoveOn's executive director, Eli Pariser, says tonight's gatherings will help set the progressive agenda.
PARISER: The parties are going to be a launching pad for what we hope is going to be the biggest lobbying day in American history, the day after the presidential inauguration.
REPORTER: On that day, January 21st, MoveOn wants its millions of members to flood congressional offices, in person and by phone.
To make sure that as the Obama administration starts acting, professional lobbyists aren't the only ones at the table.
