Election Eve Campaigning for Obama

Monday, November 03, 2008

Campaign volunteers streamed down by the busload to Pennsylvania this weekend to help out their candidate in a state that could, unlike New York, go either way.

One of them is Kimberly Conway, a lawyer from Brooklyn, volunteering for the Obama campaign. She spoke to us from Northwest Philadelphia while doing some last-minute canvassing for the Obama campaign.

CONWAY: We're really just making sure that we get the door hangers on to tell them where their polling places are and get some literature for them. So right now it's just a push to make sure everyone know where they have to be tomorrow so they can vote.

REPORTER: Locally, polls open at 6 a.m. tomorrow and remain open until 9 p.m. in New York and 8 p.m. in New Jersey.
