Up at the Park Avenue Armory, all kinds of events are going on - from a dance marathon to the chance to drink at a custom-designed tequila bar to a gypsy-themed dinner party.
They're all part of the Whitney Biennial, the Whitney Museum's take on the latest in American contemporary art.
Claudia La Rocco is a cultural critic who's been following some of these events and she's here with us.
