A small church that was destroyed during the September 11th attacks will receive up to $60 million from the Port Authority to help with its move.

This will allow the Port Authority to build an entrance ramp for an underground truck screening center where the church used to be, on the southwest corner of the World Trade Center site.

Agency Executive Director Chris Ward said the money was worth it.

WARD: It's an institution that needs to return to the site and we need to get that project moving to get the billions of dollars in investment to make sure those projects go forward as well.

REPORTER: $20 million will go to rebuild the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church a few hundred feet away, and another $20 million to $40 million will go toward infrastructure.
