What's on the Playlist at Midsummer Night's Swing

25th Year of Lincoln Center Event Kicks Off Tonight

Much of the Lincoln Center campus is hidden behind construction barriers and its central plaza is temporarily shut down for renovation. Midsummer Night's Swing has been relocated to Damrosch Park, behind the New York State Theater. And that's not the only change. This year, Midsummer Night's Swing is programmed by Bill Bragin, who made his name running the genre-crossing musical hot spot Joe's Pub. Now, he's brought his eclectic taste uptown. He walked us through some of the performers, like Nellie McKay, that he hopes will make the dance floor swing this summer.
