NY Mag Founder Dead at 82

The founder of New York magazine, Clay Felker, is dead. The magazine says the 82-year-old died with his wife, writer Gail Sheehy, at his side in their New York City home after a battle with throat cancer.
Felker is credited with revolutionizing the genre by creating a magazine with a mix of gossip, business news, politics, and consumer tips. Editor-in-chief Adam Moss says Felker created a magazine that told a kind of story that had never been told before.
