Giants Win Super Bowl 42

Monday, February 04, 2008

REPORTER: The Giants are Super Bowl champions once again. They beat the previously undefeated Patriots, 17-14 in Glendale, Arizona last night for their 3rd Super Bowl title.

Quarterback Eli Manning was named MVP and rightly so, according to Eric Quatrone, a student at City College.

QUATRONE: We held 'em to 14 points. They didn't get a chance to get their offense going and that's what the Giants needed to do and we won. That's it. Can't complain.

REPORTER: Tomorrow, the city will honor the Giants with a ticker-tape parade and a ceremony at City Hall Plaza.

The parade is scheduled to start at 11 am tomorrow morning on Broadway at Battery Place and will follow a route north to Chambers Street.
