The news that John McCain has named Sarah Palin - the 44 year old conservative Governor of Alaska as his choice for vice president is being met with skepticism by some in the city.
Brooklyn's Martha Llamas she's ticked off by the "oneupmanship" of McCain's selection.
LLAMAS: Because I think Hillary Clinton would have been a great choice for Democratic vice president - it’s like tit for tat they just have to out play one another.
REPORTER: Many Republicans are applauding the choice of Palin who is the first woman candidate on the national GOP ticket.
